SKYLINE lighting by Lieven Musschoot & Mathias Hennebel for Dark

For either ceiling- or wall-mounting and available in a range of colours – strict monochrome on the outside in the form of black or white is offset by a vibrant palette for the inside, including red, blue, green and gold – the lights’ strong visual presence is due in no small part to the repeated rectangular form they employ. The fact they’re rotatable, moreover – the spots can be angled according to need – creates a satisfying degree of sameness with difference. The product comes in two versions – ‘Skyline One’ and ‘Skyline Two’, with one and two spots respectively. Why make things complicated?

De SKYLINE one en two van Musschoot won Reddot Design Award van 2013. De muur & plafondlamp oogt zeer minimalistisch maar zit zeer vernuftig in elkaar. De buitenkant is beschikbaar in zwart of wit metaal, de binnenkant kan gekozen worden in tiental verschillende opties van goud over rood tot chocolade en nog veel meer. design Lieven Musschoot & Mathias Hennebel The Belgian architect Lieven Musschoot has worked for a number of years with the 3D designer Mathias Hennebel. Lieven and Mathias do some brainstorming, put their ideas on paper, and then convert it into 3D or a model. This year for the first time, they have developed 2 brand-new products for DARK. The lamp SKYLINE and the stool MH01. This round stool embodies elegant simplicity with its metal legs in black and white and is available in 10 fresh colours. MH01 is perfectly stackable and that makes it excellently suited for use in the hospitality sector, but it is equally at home in the kitchen, office, or bedroom and can be combined with the DARK lighting collection, allowing you to develop concepts of your own.

Lieven Musschoot and Mathias Hennebel have lost their heart to Bruges, and so has Sywawa. Our city has always been the world capital of bobbin lace. The Dentelle is the ultimate ode to this delicate craft from “Brugge die Scone” (Beautiful Bruges). A contemporary tribute to the revival of a long lost fashion.

An ode to the famous bobbin lace from Bruges, the Dentelle garden parasol is new for 2012 from Sywawa, Belgium (who are based in Bruges). The top 'lace' & the fringing (made from a very robust outdoor fabric) is available in white or black, & can be combined with any colour lining. The underside layer of this fabulous parasol is Symacryl, a hard wearing fadeprof parasol fabric that blocks 97% of sunlight, & also is waterproof. Available in 18 colours (shown in black). The base is not included, either choose one of Sywawa's fantastic base or use your own - the pole is 3cm across. Sywawa bases for this are Coupe, Cube, Rondo, Luna & United We Stand. united we stand Een schoolvoorbeeld van hoe mooi en leuk design ook uiterst functioneel kan zijn. Door zijn grootte van 80x80 cm kan deze parasolvoet met zijn flinke gewicht van 30kg ook de grootste parasols (tot een stokdikte van 50mm) goed en stabiel laten zijn en daarnaast nog een leuk object zijn. Met een lange levensduur door zijn hoge kwaliteit: gemaakt van 12 mm dik gezandstraald staal dat voorzien is van een epoxiprimer en een poedercoating die naar keuze wit (RAL 9010), Wijnrood (RAL 3005), Groen (RAL 6009), Grijs (RAL 7039) of Zwart (RAL 9005) is.
